    Barry Ferrier has earned a PhD in multimedia design (Doctor Baz is a real title, not a stage name). He has designed over 200 websites and created business design collateral for a wide range of small business through to international corporations

    Some History

  • Creative Design.

    Music has been Barry Ferrier's life, but parallel to his career in music, he developed his natural graphic design talents and learnt to create a story through graphics. Later he got the chance to push the limits of his self taught production & design skills and during the 80s became a pioneer of experimental electronic music - one of the earliest exponents of techno-music in Australia. With this early knowledge of computers and video production he was head hunted by the prestigious Bond University on Queensland's Gold Coast where he became Professor of Multimedia, and also completed his PhD in multimedia design.

Barry performs at pubs, clubs & weddings as a solo entertainer on vocals, guitar, piano & stompbox; he also performs with a dynamic music duo as Pete C. & Dr. Baz; and he stars as Johnny Cash in his self-penned music theatre show             "I Hear That Train a-Comin : the Johnny Cash Story".
